Title	Magazine articles related to mural painting during the Second World War

Description	Journal articles and reprints related to mural painting during the war. The file includes a reprint from 'The Architectural Review', August 1943 entitled 'Meals and Murals' by Eric Newton. A picture of Annan's work 'Leamington Life' appears on page 14. The front cover is annotated in pencil with a recipe for a clay compound. The file also includes pages 137 to 168 of the 'The Studio', Vol CXXV1, No. 608, November 1943 containing an article entitled 'Mural Paintings in War Canteens and British Restaurants' by Oliver Hill. Annan's work 'Leamington Life' is featured on the title page of the article (p.137). Both articles feature images of murals painted at various venues throughout Great Britain between 1939 and 1943.
