Description	Five colour positives of 'Distancing Device' (1970) and 'Evasive Device' (1971) on display at ['The British Avant', New York Cultural Center, New York, May 1971?]. The works appear to be remakes of Dye's mirrored devices made specifically for the New York exhibition, but lack of labelling makes definitive identification difficult. Accompanied by a monochrome positive of Dye's two-page layout for the exhibition catalogue.
Notes	According to the exhibition catalogue for 'The British Avant Garde', New York Cultural Center, New York, May 1971, Dye showed three works at the exhibition: 'Distancing Device', 'Evasive Device' and 'Negative Device'.
