Title | Photographs of 'Cross Reference Loops' |
Date | 1972 |
Description | Two colour photographs of the installation 'Cross Reference Loops' at the ICA, London in April 1972. Accompanied by a typescript interpretative label mounted on card. The images show two film loops stretched across a wall (on numbered rollers) with two projectors placed parallel to the wall on pedestals. The film loops are projected onto two screens set at right angles to the wall. Each film instructs the viewer to look at parts of the film as it passes certain points on the wall (identified by the numbered rollers on the wall). /1 is mounted on card and a holograph label with interpretative text is on the reverse of /2. |
Notes | According to Dye's interpretative label, the ICA exhibition took place in May of 1972. However, this date is erroneous, as the exhibition took place over six successive evenings from 25 to the 30 April, 1972. |
