TitlePhotographs of handmade four-sided pyramids
Datec.1980s
DescriptionFour unlabelled black and white photographs of two different handmade pyramids seen from different angles. The apex of the first pyramid - made from cardboard - has been cut away, revealing an indeterminate shaped hole [/1-2]. The second pyramid - [made from four pieces of triangular shaped mirrored glass taped together?] - is sited on top of an oval mirror [/3-4]. The apex of one of the triangular sides has been cut away to reveal the inside of the pyramid. Wires at the bottom of the pyramid suggest a light fitting may be encased inside.
NotesThe pyramids were probably made during Dye's period of experimentation with anamorphosis.
