| Description | Two photographs of Dye's original isometric drawing for his site specific installation 'A/Partners' at the Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol in 1977. Includes a black and white version of the drawing and a smaller [sepia?] copy. The drawing includes a detailed key outlining the various elements of the installation. Accompanied by two outsized black and white photographs of the work mounted on card, including one of Dye [setting up] the installation at the Arnolfini. The image shows Dye standing behind a male mannequin, whilst a female mannequin is posed in front of a dividing wall [/3]. The framing of the negative has been included in the enlargement of the image. The second oversized photograph shows a plinth mounted projector next to a mirror. The reflection in the mirror is that of the projected film, though it is heavily distorted as the image has been reflected around the room via five mirrors. [/4] |
