Title	Stills of 'Western Reversal'
Date	c.1973-1975
Description	Four unlabelled black and white stills from a film performance of 'Western Reversal'. Three of the images are annotated in pencil with a brief description of the scene shown in each image. Accompanied by a colour photograph of a still version of ‘Western Reversal’ [exhibited at Dye's solo exhibition at the Lisson Gallery, London in 1975] [/5]. The black and white photographs may represent unused images from the exhibition.
Notes	The 1950s Western 'Blazing Guns and Bloody Arrows' was projected via a framework of sixteen movable mirrors. One by one the mirrors were moved so that the sixteen fragmented parts of the whole image overlapped completely in the centre of the screen. An installation of the film performance was made for 'Project 74', Kunsthalle Koln, Cologne, Germany in 1974 and still version of the work was made for Dye's solo exhibition at the Lisson Gallery, London in 1975.
