Description | Thirty-one colour photographs of early abstract sculpture by Dye. The majority of works feature simple geometric configurations made from [wood, or acrylic?] combined in a variety of sizes and colours. The images appear to show the works in a [domestic?] setting. The photographs are untitled, though some are marked 'Sept 1966' in black ink. A printer’s stamp on the reverse includes dates ranging from September to December 1966. Two photographs feature a 'Peter Steiner' photographer's stamp on the reverse. Includes one photograph of [Dye?] standing next to one of the works [/25]. Accompanied by two small black and white photographs of two early abstract works, one dated 'May 1967' in black ink [/26-27]. |
Notes | Photographs of the same works feature on a presentation board dated 1968, possibly prepared as part of Dye's submission to St. Martins School of Art. |
