Title	'Aquarelle' spiral bound watercolour pad

Description	Orange 'Aquarelle' spiral bound watercolour pad containing two pages. Each page features unfinished abstract works in watercolour and pencil. Accompanied by a poster for an 'Open Studio and Discussion' event to mark the conclusion of Dye's month-long residency at High Bridge Studios, Newcastle in the Summer of 2011. The watercolours appear to have been created by Dye during his residency, but they appear to represent an experimentation with watercolours, rather than paintings intended for exhibition.
Notes	Dye's month-long residency at High Bridge Studios in Newcastle took place between July and August 2011. The residency resulted in a series of site specific watercolour paintings of different views of the studio captured by a surveillance camera. The images were conveyed to Dye's painting table by means of a monitor attached to the camera. The painting table was exhibited alongside the paintings.
