| Description | Two black and white contact sheets and eight strips of corresponding negatives of various studio experiments at Butlers Wharf. Includes images of Cripps burning a [flysheet?] with an arc welder; a [revolving?] burning object suspended from the ceiling by several lengths of [rope?]; lengths of [cassette tape?] attached to a speaker; and two frames of salvaged objects piled into the corner of Cripps’ shed. Also includes one frame of an unidentified male in the shed. Accompanied by eight strips of 35mm black and white negatives originally held in a large glassine storage pocket marked ‘3’ in blue ink with a list of negative numbers in pencil. Both contact sheets are marked in gold ink ‘F’. A white label on /1 is marked in black ink in an unidentified hand ‘Burning strips of torn up paper at the wharf etc’. The contact sheets appear to be later prints of the images. |
