Accompanied by three black and white contact sheets, each with identical images. Three frames show an outdoor performance incorporating pyrotechnics; the remaining frames are of an indoor performance with Paul Burwell in which Cripps is bound and gagged on a chair. One set of contact prints is marked in an unidentified hand in gold ink, ‘Southampton. Photographs by Ray Smith Q’ [/4]. An additional annotation in black ink marks out one frame for potential inclusion in a publication.
