Thirty-eight images are marked by Cripps on the reverse in blue ink with the scene number and/or a brief description of the scene. Notes | ‘Frills and Spills’ was a large-scale scripted performance written and directed by Cripps as part of his degree show at Corsham. It was performed by the Corsham sculpture students and incorporated machines, sound and film on a myriad of stages located throughout the college. According to the early catalogue compiled by the Stephen Cripps Trust, annotations other than those made by Cripps in blue ballpoint pen, belong to Margy Kinmonth. These annotations may have been made posthumously [see 2013.90/Q/6]. |
