Imagery including landscapes, troughs, flint tools and chopped logs, counterweighted mirrors on tripods, rocks, balancing formations, studio space and outdoor locations, tools in trays, handmade tools, frames, suspended formations, studio space and outdoor locations, ritualistically precisely placed objects, grids, supporting frames and tree trunks.
NotesInformation from Clare Rowe: Keir Smith notes on first drawing inside front cover, 'This drawing was done in Montmartre.' and sketches are referencing Paul Nash (1889 - 1946). The sketchbook also appears to show Keir Smith consolidating ideas from Cardiff and evidences notes and early drawing towards 'Collection Belts'.
