Description	Hardback black sketchbook dating from undergraduate course at University of Newcastle Upon Tyne containing sketches, notes and designs towards stretched canvases, structures and construction methods, screenprints, colour configurations, mounting methods, painting techniques, gridded structures, multi-panelled paintings and use of plaster blocks. Keir Smith's references include 'Chelsea Test' and "KS. II I June '73 - not so good eh!'. Imagery including landscape, geometries, canvas pairing, 'T shape' motif, volcano motif and scaling figure.
