Description	Spiral bound sketchbook, titled 'Keir Smith', containing sketches of birds, Mark Tobey [American painter, (1890 - 1976)] references, abstract landscapes [local to Dartford], musical references, crucifixions, cityscapes and hanged figure. Also includes cross references to other notebooks and general notes towards painting with local references.
Notes	Information from Clare Rowe: Includes seminal wrecked car motif which Keir Smith references throughout early work. Influences include John Armstrong (1893-1973), Roger Hilton (1911 - 1975), Paul Klee (1879 - 1940), Paul Nash (1889 - 1946) and Mark Tobey (1890 - 1976).
