Hoare related to the provision of hospitality for the International Conference on the Training of the Artists (/2); and correspondence, including Tennant's manuscript draft letters, related to the Barbican Arts Centre (/3-7).
NotesThis represents an artificial gathering of letters found loose in the collection
International Artists Committee was co-founded by Richard Carline in 1952. The organisation acted an advisory body in the visual arts and was affiliated to UNESCO. Carline had been a prominent member of the Artists' International Association and also co-founded the Hampstead Artists' Council.
