Description | Eleven strips of black and white negatives of a performance with Paul Burwell during a Jackson Pollock exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, 6 May 1979. The negatives were originally held in a glassine storage pocket marked ‘Heindorff’ in an unidentified hand. The images were taken by Michael Heinforff at various stages of the performance. |
Notes | According to the Stephen Cripps Monograph, Heindorff occupied an adjacent studio to Cripps at Butlers Wharf [See 'Stephen Cripps: Pyrotechnic Sculptor, A Monograph', published by ACME in association with the Stephen Cripps Trust, (1992). p.11] |
