Description | Nine black and white photographs of Cripps’ A-Level Art sculpture shown in the grounds of Cranleigh School, Surrey. The images show nine poles with beaten, metallic bird-like structures placed on top of each pole. Each photograph is marked on the reverse in pencil in an unknown hand, ‘Cartwright DIPI’. The reverse of /1 is also marked in a separate, unidentified hand, ‘Mobile, Cranleigh 1969’. The images were held in a folded sheet of A4 paper with photocopied images from Cripps’ performance work ‘Halo Lines’ (The Acme Gallery, London, August 1977) marked in an unidentified hand, ‘Mobile, Cranleigh 1969’. |
