NotesEarly newspaper articles refering to him as a 'New Zealand Sculptor'. Mentions of his Mother 'Margaret Macpherson' a radio speaker for 'New Zealand Radio Record' (dated 17 August 1934). An article from 'The Daily Mail' (dated 23 November 1935) mentions him forming a group with fellow artists; John Cole, Vivian Cole and Michael Foley to exhibit at the 'Picture Hire Gallery' being refered to as 'Four Young Sculptors' by various publications. Various articles about his 'Animals in Art' works. An article from the 'Vaxhall Mirror' dated 17th October 1968 names Hamish Macpherson as a 'senior project engineer' at the Luton Vauxhall headquarters; the Vauxhall Mirror is a newspaper exclusively for Vauxhall staff.
