DescriptionBlue-marbled hardback, ruled note book containing notes, texts by Keir Smith related to teaching at Stourbridge, and possibly Cardiff and Sheffield. Including lists of tutorial groups, course notes, projects, degree evaluations and percentages and seminar notes and interviews. Sketches and notes on Keir Smith's work include various minor sketches page by page, (some 'doodles' by others), particularly the sketch titled by Keir Smith 'Egyptian Self Portrait'; also six pages of texts and notes by Keir Smith on intentions and meaning behind Flint Axe/Star Chart. For example, 'The oldest tool related to the oldest science. The debris patterns made on the knapping floor bore a strong resemblance to configurations in the heavens…..' plus two pages of notes on experience of Edinburgh Arts journey as means of sourcing subject matter.
