Description	Hardback black sketchbook containing sketches, notes, and designs towards commissions, drawings, maquettes, bronze and steel sculptures, freestanding and serial installations, presentation sequences and sequences, railway sleeper carvings and an architectural floor-plan of Keir Smith's studio at Florence Road, London. Imagery including rock and book bases. Keir Smith reference 'Bases: 1/ Wheel, 2/ Book, 3/ Rock, 4/ Rail, 5/ Boat, 6/ Cog, 7/ Tree.'). Also architectural ruins, pillboxes, ecclesiastic, funerary and tomb architecture, industrial architectural, Italian architecture, monumental plinths and bases, obelisks and columns, huts, trees, fire, an estuary, towers, observatories, acoustic mirrors, coastal landscapes and constellations. Includes reference to 'constellation for B'ham', which was St. Chads underpass commission, [unrealised]. Also references 'Rondanine Series' (Keir Smith spelling error: 'Madonna della Rondine' by Carlo Crivelli). Other references include 'Convolvulus Tower' and 'Convolvulus Trumpet'
