Description	Hardback black sketchbook containing sketches, notes, and designs towards wood carvings, railway sleeper carvings, assemblages, maquettes, site-specific and gallery installations, commissions, freestanding and serial installations, presentation methodologies and sequences. Imagery including railways, bridges, spears, industrial architecture and landscapes, architectural ruins, oars, maritime vessels, coastal landscapes, waves, rivers, lighting, fortification, marine wildlife, self-portraiture, rocket, volcanoes and astronomy.
Notes	Information from Clare Rowe: 'Running from Eden', 1986-87. First reference to a window and wall at the ruined tin mine on the coast near St. Davids, Wales. First reference to works 'Way of Shadows'. Also 'Stefano' and 'Vault of the Scalzi'.
