DescriptionHardback black sketchbook dating from Keir Smith's undergraduate course at University of Newcastle Upon Tyne containing notes and poetry; notes from visits to various London museums and galleries including the British Museum, Tate Britain and The National Gallery. Also extensive notes on Keir Smith's own perspective painting, and notes related to his studies such as screen-printing, sculpture and various projects showing their constructions and fixings. The subjects of his projects include male and female bathers figure project and Greek architectural references. References also to composer Joseph Haydn, (1732 - 1808); also artist Ian Stevenson's, (1918 - 2007) painting splatter technique. Also noted: 'proper abstract experimental painting with images'.
