Description	Spiral bound sketchbook titled 'December 68.' including landscape, seascape, industrial architecture, ornithological imagery, triptych, portraits and Mark Tobey [American painter, (1890 - 1976)] references. Location reference to 'Istead Rise'. Keir Smith references John Armstrong's 'Dreaming Head' (1938) and Chinese painting.
Notes	Information from Clare Rowe: Includes seminal wrecked car motif which Keir Smith references throughout early work. Influences include John Armstrong (1893-1973), Roger Hilton (1911 - 1975), Paul Klee (1879 - 1940), Paul Nash (1889 - 1946) and Mark Tobey (1890 - 1976).
