Description | Twelve black and white photographs of Tennant's paintings originally held in a large envelope marked 'Photos from Exhibition of 1934 - Trevor' in an unidentified hand. As most of the photographs are untitled, it is not known how many of the photographs relate to works which appeared in Tennant's 1934 exhibition at the Leger Gallery in London. Some photographs are annotated by Tennant on the reverse with his name and address. The file includes photographs of still life, portraits of unknown sitters and two self-portraits. It also includes 2 photographs of a head carved in Portland stone and a bronze female bust (/5-7). |
