  <dc:title>Work entitled 'Response Correspondence' </dc:title>
<dc:description>Work entitled 'Response Corerspondence' incorporating an untitled photograph and text originally held in a handmade booklet made from card, paper, plastic pockets and tape. The work comprises a blurred photographic image of a piece of writing mounted on card. The remaining pages contain handwritten text in pencil and ink by nine [friends/acquaintances] written in response to viewing the photograph. A holograph note by Dye is glued to the inside back cover. The text notes that, 'This piece of writing which was photographed out of focus is a device and a symbol. As a device it is intended to spark off a response in the person to whom it is given'. All items, except Dye's text, have been removed from the booklet and placed in archival pockets.</dc:description>
