<dc:title>Negatives and contact sheets of portrait images of Cripps</dc:title>
<dc:description>A black and white contact sheet of medium format portrait images of Cripps [at Butlers Wharf] with a corresponding set of black and white negatives originally held in glassine storage envelope marked by Cripps, ‘Pictures of me [underlined] straight.’ The images show Cripps standing in front of a white painted brick wall looking directly into the camera. Includes an image of [Cripps?] standing in his studio wearing an elaborate headdress and holding a metal cage-like structure. Two frames of Cripps have been cut away from the contact sheet. Accompanied by a second contact sheet featuring the same images marked in silver ink in an unidentified hand ‘Pictures of me straight. Diddy Bag’. The contact sheet appears to be a later print of the images annotated with Cripps’ original labelling.</dc:description>
