<dc:title>Annan's correspondence related to a mosaic commissioned by Lloyds Bank, London</dc:title>
<dc:description>File of correspondence related to a mosaic commissioned by Lloyds Bank for a branch of the bank on Victoria Street, London. The file includes letters related to delays in both the commencement of the mural and its completion (/10-11; 20); letters from the architects expressing their delight with Annan's panels (/15;22-23 ); a draft letter from Annan expressing concern at the lighting close to the mosaic and its negative impact on the work (/24) and letters written in reply by the Assistance Chief Architect acknowledging the poor lighting, but expressing regret at being unable to reverse the landlord's decision to change the lighting (/25-26). The correspondence contains a number of draft replies by Annan, possibly in Tennant's hand, written on the reverse of letters sent to her by H. Lindo, the Assistant Chief Staff Architect.</dc:description>
