<dc:title>Photographs of Tennant's 'Figures in Movement' exhibited at the Molton Gallery in 1965</dc:title>
<dc:description>Black and white photographs of Tennant's semi-abstract figures in movement. The pieces show figures with lissom limbs performing a variety of activities, including sprinting, archery, football, swimming and throwing the hammer. The majority of pieces were exhibited in Tennant's one-man exhibition 'Figures in Movement' at the Molton Gallery, London in 1965. The first fifteen photographs in the file are amateur photographs showing the works in Tennant's studio, whereas the last 6 photographs appear to be professional images, possibly taken for the Molton Gallery exhibition catalogue. None of the photographs are titled, but identified works include ['Hammer Thrower'] (/1-3) and ['Footballers'] (/16-17). </dc:description>
